In Plants vs Zombies, plants and zombies battle to see who will rule the neighborhood. Plants are on the offensive team. Zombies are on the defensive team. The game starts out with a lawn that needs to be defended against the zombies.
The game starts out with a lawn that needs to be defended against zombies. The lawn is laid out with different kinds of plants in the ground. Players use their mouse to aim and shoot plants at the zombies to keep them at bay. As the game progresses, new plants are introduced and new zombies are introduced. Zombies can be stopped with just one hit from a plant, but plants may take multiple hits to destroy. Some zombies are harder to kill, while others are weaker.
The graphics in the game are cartoon-like. They are not very realistic, but they are detailed enough to be able to recognize the plants and zombies. Plants and zombies are animated, and the environment is interactive.
